Girona on foot

Originally a Roman city, but most of its history goes back to medieval times, there are plenty of stories and legends. The amazing cathedral with its unique central nave, in fact the widest one in the Gothic style, the Jewish quarter which is said to be the best preserved in Spain, the small streets bring you to a former Benedictine monastery – Saint Pere de Galligants and the beautiful church belonging to the monastery, Saint Nicolas. Worthwhile is a walk around the city walls in order to have a beautiful view of Girona. Little shops and art galleries make this tour unforgettable.
