Salvador Dali was born in Figueres in 1904 and died there in 1989. It is there that most of his works are to be found in the museum. Near Cadaques we find the village of Port LLigat where the Dali family had their summer house. It was there that he met Gala. Later on in the sixties Dali bought a castle in a ruined state for his wife Gala in the village of Pubol. Welcome to Dali’s surrealistic world!
