Theme Tours around Barcelona
Montserrat
After a beautiful scenery drive, we arrive at the Benedictine monastery of Montserrat {3000 feet} where we still find a community of monks. They have lots of work to do, such as teaching the pupils, praying at sun rise and sun set and assist the visitors.
Tarragona

Penedes
The Penedes region is known for its wines. We will be visiting 3 “Bodegas” where you will be able to see the process of wine-making and, of course, tasting of their wines, including the most well-known one which is called Cava (sparkling wine).
Tossa and Costa Brava
Right in the central part of the Costa Brava we find the lovely city of Tossa. The Romans named the place Castrum Tursia. Many monuments show you that this city was once a wealthy town.
Medieval towns Pals and Peratallada
At a 40-minute drive from Girona, we find some interesting medieval towns like Pals and Peratallada. The town of Pals was completely rebuilt after the Civil War (1936-1939) thanks to a surgeon from Pals who donated his money to rebuild this lovely city. The restoration took from 1948 till 1978.
The Dali Triangle
Salvador Dali was born in Figueres in 1904 and died there in 1989. It is there that most of his works are to be found in the museum. Near Cadaques we find the village of Port LLigat where the Dali family had their summer house.
Girona on foot
Girona was originally a Roman city, but most of its history goes back to medieval times, there are plenty of stories and legends.
